Pre-School- Robins

Our Staff

Our Pre-School Practitioners are Miss. Rachael Watkins and Miss. Eve Stannard.

They are joined, throughout the week, by Mrs. Lisa Harris and Mrs. Jenny Knights who are TA specialists in Write Dance and Speech & Language activities amongst other things.

Environment

This half term our learning is based on life cycles. We are learning about the life cycles of animals and plants,  reading the stories The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Jack and the Beanstalk, planting seeds and observing our very own caterpillars! The Very Hungry Caterpillar The Very Hungry Caterpillarcaterpillarsstory tipi

At Snape Pre-School we are committed to do the very best for every child. We strive to provide an excellent, enabling learning environment which is child centred and captures the imagination and curiosity of childhood.  We believe child-initiated play supports children to develop their own ideas and be in control of their own learning journey. We support, extend and develop children’s learning through high quality adult interactions and additional activities and experiences thorough out the week. Weekly sessions include music, Forest School, PE and targeted communication and interaction sessions. Children experience outside play, role play opportunities, creative and expressive art and craft opportunities, singing, stories and maths activities every day.

We are fully inclusive and use a wide range of strategies to support and include all our children.

  • An afternoon session runs 12pm to 3pm
