We salvaged the last of the blackberries in our allotment area and made delicious blackberry jam! We wrote blackberry picking poetry and learnt to draw a blackberry up close, adding tone and texture. We have been eating our jam ever since, often starting the day with toast and jam and catching up on the latest editions of First News!
